Social compliance policy

We at Natty Wear are commited to adhering to the highest legal and ethical social compliance standards. The purpose of this Social Compliance Policy is to define the minimum standards and to assure that we do our utmost to make sure that the standards of our Social Compliance Policy are implemented throughout our own organisation and throughout our global supply chain of suppliers and sub-contractors. We only do business with suppliers and sub-contractors whose standards and values are compatible with ours.



Supply Chains

We require our suppliers to have fair working conditions and we are committed to buying goods and services only from suppliers who follows ethical principles in regards to workplace safety, environmental responsibility and human rights.



Legal and ethical standards

We are committed to do business in an ethical and legal manner and will only do business with suppliers and sub-contractors whose ethical beliefs, norms and values are consistent with our own.



Human rights

We are committed to protecting a person’s Human Rights and will only do business with suppliers and sub-contractors who implements protection of Human Rights.



Anti-discrimination

We are committed to and will only do business with suppliers and sub-contractors who implements an anti-discrimination policy to make sure that every employee will not be subjected to any form of discrimination on the basis of gender, race/ethnic origin, religious beliefs, age, disability, sexual orientation, nationality, political opinion, social group or apperance.



Child labour

We are committed to following the ILO (International Labour Organization) Conventions 138 and 182. We will not tolerate the use of child labour under any circumstances and will only do business with suppliers and sub-contractors who implements protection against child labour.



Employee contracts

We are committed to and will only do business with suppliers and sub-contractors who are providing all employees with a written employment contract in a language that is easily understood by them at the time of the start of their employment.



Compensation

We are committed to and will only do business with suppliers and sub-contractors who pay workers in accordance with applicable legal requirements in the state or country of manufacturing. This includes all rules and regulations pertaining to minimum wages, overtime, maximum working hours, benefits and other conditions for compensation according to the mandate of the applicable law or contract.



Working hours

We are commited to and will only do business with suppliers and sub-contractors aligning to the ILO regulations that a regular working week shall not exceed 48 hours.



Forced labour

We are fully committed to and will only do business with suppliers and sub-contractors upholding human rights and who fully supports the UN Universal Declaration of Human rights, the International Labour Organization Core Conventions and the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights. We are committed to the elimination of all aspects of slavery and any other kind of forced, involuntary, compulsory, uncompensated and indentured labour. All employees must be free to leave the employment at any time after reasonable notice. Employees shall never be required to lodge identity papers or other valuable items with their employer. We do not tolerate any verbal or physical abuse or other forms of harsh or inhumane treatment of employees.



Freedom of association

We are committed to and will only do business with suppliers and sub-contractors who maintain and promote freedom of association for all workers. This includes the right of workers to collectively bargain.



Workplace environment

We are committed to and will only do business with suppliers and sub-contractors who maintains a clean, safe, healthy and productive environment for all employees. The utilization of mental or physical disciplinary practices such as intimidation, threats or harassment of any kind will not be tolerated.



Banned substances and practices

We are committed to and will only do business with suppliers and sub-contractors who adheres to ensure that banned substances and processes are not used in or on any products.



Animal welfare

We are committed to and will only do business with suppliers and sub-contractors who adheres to national and international standards for animal welfare.



Environmental and community concerns

We are committed to and will only do business with suppliers and sub-contractors who complies with international and local requirements and environmental codes.



Import and export regulations requirements

We are committed to and will only do business with suppliers and sub-contractors who complies with all economic and trade sanctions laws in all jurisdictions in which it operates and commits to comply with all requirements of Swedish sanctions regimes both within Sweden and abroad.



Anti-Bribery & Corruption

We have a strict Policy against accepting bribes and gifts and we do not tolerate corruption in connection with any of our business dealings.



Competition

We are committed to and will only do business with suppliers and sub-contractors who adheres to compete fairly and independently in every market in which the business is conducted.
